I am currently working on cutting out soda. I normally have 1 a day and a few times a week I will have 2 a day. I want to get down to only having a soda a week when we go out after church. So far cutting out soda I am seeing a good drop from dropping the soda. After that I want to work on cutting out a lot of my sugar intake but one thing at a time!

Good for you for concentrating on one thing at a time. Dropping soda is a great choice. There is nothing in there you need! (and its expensive!)

Soda is also my down fall. While I was on vacation I hardly drank any and lost a lot and as soon as I came home I started drinking it again. I went from 3-4 a day a year ago to one a day sometime two a day now. I will have to try again to cut the soda. We can do it, maybe you should start a challenge to cut soda.

That's exactly how I started. I cut out the soda first, and obvious sugars, and now totally low carb. I feel so much better.

i have been free from the soda / diet soda demon for 5 weeks and mostly decaffinated as well initially I saw a huge impact on my loss. Went from 1-2 lbs a week to 3-4 lb loss. I have also eliminated all junk foods since day one and if we have to get fast food I choose the grilled chicken or salad. And not only am I losing weight but I am also feeling a ton better(most days).
