I am trying to be positive but no one seems to be noticing and that is totally depressing me...I feel so alone. I need to continue though because someone will notice, and that will matter.

I disagree. What matters most is that YOU feel better. Who cares what other people notice!!! Be positive for YOU!!!

Also, don't forget that if people see you on a near-daily basis, they might not notice right away because the day to day change is so small. I'm a teacher, and a good friend of mine went on a major diet. I knew she was losing a lot of weight, but I didn't notice a difference. But when we got back from a break, suddenly I noticed that she was WAY skinnier. And it wasn't because she lost a ton of weight over break. Hopefully this kind of makes sense. Don't get down on yourself - I don't know about you, but I tend to eat when I'm bummed out, and that's not helpful. People here seem super supportive, so just check in here and I'm sure you'll be able to get your head back in the game! Keep up the good work!!

It's not easy to notice a 4 pound loss. When you get to 20, I am sure plenty of people will notice. Also, many people are reluctant to say anything about people's weight, because so many people get offended easily. The most important thing is how you feel. You are doing fine.
