Are you doing all the snacking at night? Maybe you are not eating enough during the day and you're starving so you binge? This has tripped me up before. You have a very successful history of weight loss and I'm just a newbie, but it's a thought. Hope you find your groove again soon.

It is my old, old pattern of evening overeating. I imagine it is related to the stressors, both emotional and physical of not smoking. I have been drinking LOTS of water so at least I know I am well hydrated!!! I'm feelin' the groove vibes ... hope I latch on!!!

Minor blip on your radar...you've got the hang of this, and will be back in the groove soon.

I know you will find your groove. Suggestion??? Keep this site open and when you want to eat look at your overall weight loss history. Look at your mom's overall weight loss history. Maybe that will help???

It is sooooo easy to get out of kilter. I did that at the beginning of the summer after some cross contry travel. You've just got to get up one day and say, "This is it. I'm going for it!" Then say that a lot - on many many days. Step by step. Inch by inch. Your application of the word "groove" reminds me of one of my favorite quotations. IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT YOUR RECORD'S SAYIN' - PUT THE NEEDLE IN A DIFFERENT GROOVE - MAN! That was Timothy Leary who said that. He's a pretty interesting guy to read - but he invented LSD. Oh well. Come on madaboutmoose - SHAKE YOUR GROOVE THANG! I am not making fun. I am just being - well - me!

This post reminds me of the movie "How Stella Got Her Groove Back," although I don't remember it at all. :-)

Stella got her groove back by hooking up with a handsome, sexy, younger man. That works for me. ;-)
