LissaLou66's Journal, 13 June 2011

Since the start of my "diet" on May 3rd of this year, I have lost 14.8 pounds. As it is June 13th, that is 40 days of dieting. Which means that I am averaging 1 pound lost every 2.7 days. Ahhh, to be able to keep up that pace would be awesome. I know reality will come around soon though and a pound a week may be the reality of the losses. That's okay though! As long as I am plugging away to a leaner and healthier self I am fine!

My biggest change in eating made so far: I have simply not eaten fast food! No greasy fries, no milk shakes, no burgers and cheese. Now I have had a burger at home but I know they are healthier choices as I control the meat (chicken or turkey or lean red beef) and the manner of cooking. My digestion is better, I sleep better - really!

I have begun incorporating some exercise into my schedule. I should be doing more, but I want to be sure that what I am doing is something I can live with and not just blitz attack my weight loss and when it goes to be left with an unattainable amount of exercise and modified eating that will inevitably sabotage me. I want to be sure that how I am living right now - today, is the way that I can continue on with.
