Today will be cleaning, walking the dog we are dog sitting, gym, parade which my daughter is in for cheerleading, cookout at BIL's just informed 20 minutes ago and fireworks later tonight of which I have no desire to see. I wish I could see them without parking and hassles. I'm also a little concerned about leaving this dog. No intention of blowing my calories today but we'll see if I stick to my guns.

I have one dog very afraid of fireworks. I knew several of my neighbors would be setting off large fireworks last night, so I covered top and sides of a dog crate with thick comforters and pillows for sound insulation and had her hang out in there. I don't know whether she appreciated it, but a dog that is crate trained usually tends to calm down in the crate. This is true of our dog, even though we haven't created her in several years.

Cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and batch cooking for me today. We watch our neighbors set off fireworks.

Our 4th Celebrations ended yesterday. I didn’t keep track of what I ate or drank. So back on track today. My pup is not fond of the fireworks either. I shut my blinds and left the TV on to buffer some of the noise. It has worked for 13 years. Happy 4th to you!
