Accidentally worked out yesterday. I took my deposit to the bank. I did the math one time and figured out my deposits weigh between 75-100 lbs. Yesterday I did 3 reps. Pick deposit up, close van door with some body part, speed walk to door, pit stop at planter to adjust bags, hit automatic door button with hip or elbow, speed walk through foyer, hit door button with elbow, hit door button with elbow, hit door button with hip, swear, open door with fingertips, jam foot in door, open door with elbow, speed walk 5 miles through lobby, wait for angry not smiling teller to call you over, slide deposit up wall to teller station, breathe, repeat 2 more times.

My heart was angry by the time I was done. If you try this at home, I recommend stretching first.

Huge workout there kiddo! I had to laugh as I read your entry but it had to have been hard work.

My heart was pumping harder by the time I got back to the van. I decided to do the math once when my arms literally gave out on the way into the bank and I dropped the bags. I will be repeating this exercise tomorrow. The tellers love seeing me. Their faces just light up with joy and bliss. When it gets really heavy I do recruit the girlfriend since she's stronger than me.

Holy crap do they really weigh that much? Well at least you will have arms of steel! There should be a couple exercises like repeatedly flipping off over drivers on morning commute and dragged 50 pound bag of quinoa into station wagon. That stuff should count dammit!

Laughing, Nikki, oops sorry my daughter is Nichol, she has always been Nikki. Coins are dang heavy... bet the tellers hate loading those coins into the change counter. Don't feel bad, it's god exercise for them too.

Vopli, IC is not going to open a fitness club, but she might open a sugar rehab. Hauling those bags could be punishment for relapse, or for smuggling sugar in.

Sugar smugglers, oh my!!! we better watch out!!!!

Lol the jobs for sugar smugglers have already been filled by classicrocker and northernmusician. It's our long game to stay in business. Now I kind of want to weigh a bag and see if my math was right.I based it on a roll of quarters weighing 8 oz.

I weighed yesterday's deposit. It was a light day with small stops, and it weighed 42 lbs.

hhmmmm ...trying to imagine what business uses that many quarters?...arcades and laundrymats dont exist anymore...that would be a lot of drunk irishmen playing quarters....I know!....you started a " give a quarter to someone who gives a crap!" business! (ok I blame low blood sugar)

Instantcrazy services those machines where you grab a toy and but it in chute. Yup basically an arcade machine. Lots of quarters.....

Hmmm...we have a laundrymat in our town. Are we really that behind in the times? :) Thank goodness I don't have to use it, but many people here still do. It stays busy.

The mall here has an arcade, it's usually packed with teenagers. There are lots Laundromats around, how else do people who live in apartments do their laundry?

Actually the really heavy deposits come from the gumball/toy capsule machines. The claw machines at least have bill acceptors so it's not 100% coin. I can always tell when a little kid has stuck something in the bill slot, because I open the door and it's full of quarters.
