Well ... Happy Sunday Everyone.

Though being up before 5am for me is terribly frustrating. Every now and then, I go through spells where I wake up far too early even though i am dog tired. Hate time zone change. and to boot, gym doesn't open until 8am, so just sitting around sipping coffee. the cycle is awful. something wakes me at 2 or 4 am and i just toss and turn until i realize i am impacting mbh's(my better half) sleep, so i get up.

And to boot, seems like a lot of this is going around - Halloween candy strikes again. binge. ugh. up in weight this am. though, in addition to being a kid eating candy, we had Chinese last night, may be sodium too. i feel puffy. and i have a bit of a headache. odd, in years past i may not have noticed puffiness or inflammation - but getting weight off and my diet choices have me more in tune with what's happening day to day in my body. that's a good thing.

still, on an up note, an exam i thought would take the entire weekend to complete, was finished up early yesterday. i am in a masters program at northwestern that is entirely online, and it is awfully brutal. so to tackle an exam in a day, versus the 4 days it took me for the first one, i am pleased. just one more project and then the final to take before a break until my next course starts up in January. so - a free day, which is rare between class, kids, mbh, and work.

holy cow, blathering journal entry.

will probably hit the gym, clean house, take care of leaves. relax. grilling steak for dinner - bout to get cold, so gotta get some grilling in.

Light weight workout today:
chin and pull ups
hanging leg lifts
db dead lifts
weighted box jumps
db close grip bench press to fly to sit up to shoulder press
inverted rows
cable pulls w/planks
dips w/knee raises
sprints then bike for 1/2 hour

i can tell the fuel i added to my body yesterday (i.e. an a$$ load of sugar) is gonna make me run sluggish all day - can't use the cheap fuel when you are trying to run optimally! grrr ... oh well, new day.

cheers to all.

Congrats finishing the exam in less time than you had planned. My dogs do not understand the time change, also woke me up too early this am, can't get back to sleep. Oh well. Enjoy your workout.

thx unamoyer - completing it is great - now - waiting on the grade - this course Statistical Analysis, is so hard, I'd be happy with a C - as I received on the first one.

Yeah, if you look at my sleep this past week it's all over the board. Its hasnt helped that I have to get up early to give pain meds to one of my dogs. Three times a day. I don't mind though he's a good companion and we love him. What a busy life you lead! I admire all that energy. You might surprise yourself and get a higher grade. Wishing you a successful week in all venue's. Truly, J.J.
