According to my doctor, if I gain more than 2 lbs over night, I should drink only liquids. coffee, water, diet soda, tea all day, then eat a steak and an apple. So, she's in charge and I trust her, so I did just that. I think I gained because I didn't feel good yesterday and I really struggled to eat enough.

Good luck on following the doctors orders. A two pound gain sounds like water weight. Hopefully it goes as quickly as it came.

The cure for water weight gain is (1) water-based liquids, and (2) time. And the steak/apple addition sounds pretty all right!
