My weight is not budging at all-one pound up, one pound down ad infinitum. Ugh!

Busy week this week-lots of lunch and dinner meetings-being good but want to start South Beach Phase 1 as soon as possible.

Had dinner last night with an old mentor. 3 hr dinner and she talked and talked and talked. I am just waking up from the coma. Lunch today at a lovely Frenchie place and I was good, even though I wanted to order the profiteroles like mad. There was a gorgeous man ( I can look!) there too-I forget how many beautiful people live in LA. Tomorrow lunch with my old boss and good friend. I am trying to get out there more in hope of picking up some business.

Ran for at least 45 mins today-full tilt. Felt really good! No pain. It's a miracle! The ocean was gorgeous and I felt so strong and athletic, lol. Running along passing all the volley ball girls with their 6 ft muscular bods-then I saw my reflection in a window and reality bit me in my big fat ass! Never mind-I still wore a belt on my jeans today with a top that did not hang to my knees IN PUBLIC!

Have sore throat though and so thirsty. I drink tons of water anyway but cannot get enough today. -swine flu? It's not a joke, I know BUT there is a fair bit of over reaction going on...my friend called the pediatrician at lunch cos her kid has a sore throat. The doc told her that he hasn't been able to see patients today because he is fielding phone calls from anxious parents. I saw one person walking on the 3rd st promenade in Santa Monica wearing a surgical mask. I hope it does not escalate into a panic situation. The economy will suffer even more.

Well this rambling must come to an end. Work calls.

At least you are keeping your weight off! its such a struggle not to fall back into old habits. You are doing great and the other benefit is that you are keeping healthy! I am still getting caught up here but had to peek in on you and your fabulous life... you make me think that maybe I should go back to work again just for the hustle and bustle of it all. Your FABUOLOUS DAHHH-LING!

You ran 45 MINUTES?! BRAVO! That is really great! Thank God I don't live in LA. I'd NEVER go out of the house! LOL I'm still bouncing back and forth between the same 3 lbs, or so too. If you keep running like that though, those lbs. are really going to drop. Keep at it my friend! ((((HUGS))))

45 min and no pain... like no, you didn't hurt yourself OR no soreness... cuz I think its another clue to up your work out woman! ok, i will STOP bugging about it! really i will... but one more thing, I read on a journal a while back someone told someone not to waste too much time on cardio! I was like WHAAA? then my gym lady tells me the same thing now. She says its more for heart health than to burn cal, YOU HAVE TO MOVE INTO THE WEIGHT ROOM! soooo? convinced yet!? i am sooo jealous of your view tho, thats an other reason i bug! lol ;D happy day!

holding my fingers in my ears and humming! I just don't want to hear it!!!! lol. I used to lift 3 x week when I was losing weight-hmmm, coincidence? I think not!!! Also though-when I was running 3-4 x per week I also weighed 130 lbs and ate whatever I wanted-hmmm, coincidence? Well my step son is home and it's to the gym tomorrow! Thanks everyone.
