ok your going to think im crazy but i know how you can get off the plateau. Gain two pounds and only two and do this over about a week and then go back to your diet full force that should get you off the plateau and on your way back down the hill!!

I personally think you eat too little. 840 calories means starving your body. Plus, get your protein to be 50% of your intake. To do that I eliminated carbs where I could (replaced dinner carbs with veggies and no sandwiches) and added cottage cheese for protein. I take it right after workout, within 20 minutes. Since I started doing that I started to shred fat. Until then I was not loosing much either. But the main thing is you need to eat more.

First...relax. You have lost a lot of weight pretty rapidly. You are doing good and your body needs to adjust, it is natural to plateau. Second, if you are increasing you are also increasing muscle and since muscle is heavier than fat, you can still be losing fat and have the scale read the same. How are your measurements doing? How are your clothes fitting? You can still have positive changes in your body with no change in the scale. Third, your metabolism could be stalled. Consistent restriction to 1000 calories or less will cause it to shut down. To alter this, I was instructed to eat 4 meals per day of 400 calories each. Gained 8 pounds in 1 week. Then by the next week, they were all gone. It's been a process to get the metabolism jump started again. Try increasing your calories for a week or two while doing some good cardio workouts to get your metabolism reved up and then you should see that scale start dropping again. Good luck!
