I went out last Sunday and drank the wrong thing (beer). I sabotaged my weight loss. I am considering this a lesson learned. No more beer for me.

Diet Calendar Entry for 13 March 2011:

Don't beat yourself up. We all go overboard now and then. Don't give up the beer entirelly, but work it into your diet so that you are in control and still get to have fun. Consider allowing yourself two Michelob ultra lights per a week. That way you can save them for when you want to go out on the weekends with your friends. Have a diet coke in between the beers so that you are able to have match drink for drink with your friends without drinking more than two beers. You'll be able to relax and have fun but still maintain your weightloss goals. Also, you won't get that nasty headache in the morning!

the problem w/ the above advice, as I see it... is this person is not on Atkins. And apparently, is unaware of how this will affect your overall efforts. She is right... no sense in beating yourself up about it, since you already did it. However, beer, alcohol, etc., is not allowed in Induction for particular reasons. And too many artificial sweetners will most likely slow or stall your weight loss. SO... the big question is why did you sabatoge yourself? You can easily turn this back around, but you will have to commit to Induction to get things rolling again. Pls let people know if you are needing help.
