Today was Day 5 of P90X: Shoulders/Back and Legs and Abs... I can't do pullups yet so I did the bands and I'm feeling it! Legs are sore.. what is up with those chair poses with holding a leg up at a time? Abs - Wednesday I did 184 situps and today I did 220 WHOOOHOOO!!! So already starting to see a difference in my very first week! I finished exercising at 7 and it's now 9 and wow am I starting to feel it... but supposedly that's a good thing... (right?)

I've slowly been gaining back the initial weight loss I lost really quickly but I'm not too concerned. I know I'm doing the right things - my body is just trying to be stubborn is all. I will prevail and my body will HAVE to give up this fat to show off these muscles I know are forming!

Shoulders and Legs is my Favorite P90x workout of all time. From day one I was able to knock it out (Soccer player). But to this day, I still feel that workout 3 days later because I continue to modify it to make it harder. I lunge deeper, and get down lower in the squats and I really hold the chair pose. I just love it! Nice to see you are using Shakeology!! How is that working for you? I see you are drinking the recovery drink. Which is cool...but what time of the day are you working out. Appears the morning. Which Is ok. My initial thought was to avoid the recovery drink in the evening as it has a lot of sugar (good sugar) in it. I would recommend Shakeology as the recovery drink for the evening in that case.

At first I did the recovery drink after the workout but yesterday started drinking it during the workout and its helping me maintain my stamina through the routines. Shakeology - which I love love love love love - I drink normally around 8ish. If I don't have it in the morning then my body starts letting me know its missing something. I am truly addicted! Just got the P90X bars - and YUM!!! although the carbs in them I think aren't too good for me. Maybe as long as I eat them in the am, my body will work it off? oh.. so much to this getting healthy stuff!
