Hello everyone, last week as I read your journals and posts, I would see a lot of posts about going to birthday party's. At the time I could not completely understand what you were going through. This past saturday, I attended my nephew's birthday party, and everything I put on my plate I was thinking about how much fat or how many carbs were in it.
I must say I thought I did pretty good until I actually put it in the computer. The party wasn't to bad, but it was the damn pizza my husband wanted to order when I got home that killed me. Thinking I did good by leaving before the cake, then completely screwed up by eating Alot of pizza, all weekend long.
Anyway, as you all probably know I did not go to the gym all week or weekend, but I am proud to say that as soon as I am done writing this I am off to the gym. Even in this nasty rainy weather. I am back on track with having my head in the game, and wanting to lose this fat. If you have read my previous posts then you will understand what I mean. Thanks for listening and I will post more after the gym. Have a great day everyone, and keep up the great job your doing.

Be careful!! I recommend logging right before you have a meal or eat anything. That has saved me so many times. Like yesterday I made a cheese and avocado sub for lunch. I was about to eat all of it but remembered to log it in first. I realized that eating it all at one would have made my leftover calories for lunch be way too small, so I just ate half. That totally saved me. I highly recommend it, Sherrie. Hang in there!! Weight loss is at your finger tips. :)

Pizza is so hard! So delicious but can't find any type that isn't loaded with calories! Take comfort knowing the you DID skip some of the high cal party items so you did make good choices even over a party weekend.

Ugh, that darned, delicious, greasy, cheesy pizza! It'll get you every time, lol! If I could, I'd eat it every day... It's my favorite food, and I miss it so much :( Since I'm on atkins, pizza is a huge no-no, but I have figured out a way to somewhat enjoy it without feeling too deprived. Usually my household does pizza every Sunday, and to keep from feeling left out, or deprived, I get a piece, usually veggie lovers or supreme, and I just scrape off the toppings and eat those. It's just enough to fix my cravings and keep me happy! And you can log just the toppings on here, which is super helpful! Anywho, hang in there... You did well at the party, and you should be proud of that! Usually it's the social situations that can trip us up!
