I am a 44 year old mother of 2 who works part time but for most of my marriage I was an at home mom. I work 3-4 hours a day at a desk and spend a lot of time on the road driving my kids.

I have a histamine intolerance which makes me unable to eat certain foods and cannot tolerate alcohol. I also have moderate sleep apnea so I am getting treated for some sinus issues and am hoping between weight loss and the sinus issues being fixed it will resolve.

I am tired of being overweight and know it impacts my health. I am embarrassed by my appearance so I don't like to hang out with many people. I want to lose this weight so I can be proud of how I look and improve my health! I signed up for fatsecret in September of last year but only finally got off my butt in January! Now really, really working to lose this weight!

So far I am using the Lost It app to track calories and walking on my treadmill daily. Some days it is a huge struggle to force myself to not give in to taking a day off! I am not following a specific diet, I am watching portions and just counting calories. My food choices have improved out of necessity to stay in my allotted calories but there is nothing I've given up totally other than soda!
