I ate correctly and went to the gym today. I am learning that, in general, food has a lot of calories, and I am seriously going to have to alter these habits I have maintained for a long time now. I'm REALLY glad I'm a vegetarian because I can't imagine how many calories meat items must have. I've also learned that arugula is disgusting, and hard to chew and swallow, and tastes like a plant but not a food, if that makes sense. On to the next green - I can't ALWAYS eat butter lettuce mix from Trader Joe's, which is my favorite. I do love spinach salads. Perhaps I'll bring that home next after we finish this awful arugula. The gym was great - I love the bright pink tone my skin takes when I visit the gym. That alone is incentive to go!
