The cold weather has settled in again for awhile at least the sun is out. Lazy Sunday morning, I need to get moving. My arthritis has my ankles really sore they will be better after a walk on my gazelle. Have weekend chores to catch up on that I simply didn't do yesterday, meals to plan, some prep cooking to do, and a quick trip for some groceries. That way i can stay on track better.
A couple hours later, a shower, walked for awhile, breakfast, still feeling lazy, tired, body feels better, but just want to lie here under a blanket and read. Trying to find motivation.

Think you are allowed to have a lazy day every now and then. They surely aren't going to allow you one tomorrow!

Very true, no choice tomorrow. Will probably do what I need to do and not much more. Bought 3 cookbooks at a thrift shop on Wed. All with the jackets still on and the bindings new. They are begging for attention. I'm weird I read cookbooks. One is geared to fresh greens, veggies and herbs will be soo good once spring gets here. It's inspiring me to plant some new things. Am creating some raised beds this year as my soil has not proved itself for growing much. Hoping the weather co-operates for my days off in march.

I love cookbooks as well. I have a large collection, and I just love reading them. I seldom cook entire recipe, but get inspiration to try something new. I also like reading about different countries cousine. It is almost like travelling.

my friends and family think i'm nuts! glad i'm not the only one. Exactly my attitude, besides I love to play with food! I'm out of room in my cookbook bookshelves. I will count my cookbooks when I have to take them out of the shelves to paint my living room, I know my smaller bookcase has close to 200. Had a Thai spicy veggie curry used a sardine instead of the fish sauce last night and am making an Indian sweet potato, kale, and chickpea curry for dinner, will have some left for lunches.

What a coincidence! The cold (relatively speaking to our warmer temperature heheh) has also settled here again just yesterday :P. There was a warmer period and it's back at it again. Reading under the blankets is always enjoyable! :)
