I have to share this with my buddies- I was shopping some clearance racks yesterday and found a super cute pair of dressy jeans at 90% off- so like $12. The bad thing was there were only one pair left in a size 4. Now crazily enough I decided to try them on. They are too tight to wear right now, but I could actually put them on and button everything. Once on they look snug, but not ridicolously tight. I decided to get them and see how they look with Spanx underneath or if I lose 5 more lbs. they should fit good. That was the first time I ever bought that size. If someone would have said I would actually attempt to try that on and buy it a few months ago I would have laughed in their face. Last year at this time I was happy to be fitting in my 10's again. I am NOT a size 4, and I'm still shocked I have been buying 6's which I also thought would not be possible, but it is exciting. It is also motivating me to lose some more so I can wear those cute pants!

I want to say again that you CAN do what you thought would never be possible! Set your mind up for success. What do you want? What will you need to do to get there? Look at your calendar and set your goals- look at the end goal and then break down, first a month out and then set your weekly goals and record it on the calendar. I think doing this has made a big difference for me and has helped me stay on track. Think about spring and summer coming up. We have about 4 months to prepare. How much will you want to lose to feel comfortable in shorts or a swimsuit? If it's 20 lbs, then that is a goal of being 5 lbs lighter per month, or 1.25 lb. loss per week. Whatever your goal is (even if it losing 100 lbs and it takes a year,) knowing the goal is very helpful in knowing what you need to acheive to get there. You can do this! You are worth it!!

How exciting about the size 4's! I felt that way about a pair of size 12's recently. A lower size just seems impossible! Until you get there! I agree with your message. You can do what you set your mind to do!

I love what you just said! You've inspired me to really sit down and write my actual possible, easily gotten, goals. Like a pound a week. I want size 4! Me too! Me too! :)
