I feel like a broken record. And I hope everyone doesn't lose patience with my continuous falling off the wagon. But this vacation, which has one more week for me with the kids home, is really testing my ability to control myself.

Suffice it to say, last night I went out with hubby for his birthday, and I let myself go!!! We went to sushi, which I thought was the perfect choice after my eating relatively little the rest of the day. And I ordered plum wine, and then later I had a second glass. Well, I enjoyed the drunk feeling I got from the wine. That was fun! But I totally lost any inhibition, surprisingly! LOL!!! I had yummy sushi too!!!! MMMMMM!!!!!!!!

Then off to the movie we went, and I got Red Vines, thinking I'd eat them slowly. Nope! Well, to make a long story short, I ate later at home too! So here I am, back on the wagon today!!! And I'm mad at myself that I didn't control myself. I want to lose this weight! But on the other hand, it was fun! The movie was good, too!

Now that I think about it, I'm not sooo mad at myself. I'm actually feeling better now that I'm writing this. I did overeat, go off my points, of course. But I had fun. So there it is. But I am back on now, sitting on the wagon with all my good friends here, enjoying the hay ride! LOL!!!!

Hope everyone else is well!

I was totally thinking about you last night. I forced myself to go to bed at 1030 so I could wake up earlier this morning. And I was laying there wide awake STARVING. Anywho, it made me think of a good tip to help with your late night cravings. Try brushing your teeth around 8pm. Then you might not snack at night as much cause of it. =) Sushi is always so worth the indulgence to me so im a bad person to ask lol

Glad you enjoyed yourself! I used to love plum wine. Yum! Glad you are back on the wagon! There were plenty of hands on it to pull you up, and a few still on the ground pushing from below! :)

It's so easy to fall off the wagon and even easier when we've had a recent fall... maybe you haven't scooched up to the front of the wagon enough yet! But once you get a week of on track eating and exercise under your belt, you will find the sailing a whole lot smoother. Great attitude about the whole thing, though... feeling guilty is so counterproductive. Here's to a better day!
