It seems as the week moves along it is picking up speed, already Tues and a few more loose ends to complete. I am so looking forward to Fri Evening - as we are having a huge open house here at my home...and if I can convince them, I will be taking about 10 teenagers out to 4-5 homes to go caroling! Been working on some lyric books for them...not sure they know all the words to all the songs....so I thought this might inspire them! When they see my hard work - perhaps they won't say 'no way!'.
Still have one or two things left to pick up, and a major grocery trip on the week's worth of stuff to do...a little more of a dusting or pass thru w/ the vac - and then I am done!
Will do some baking tomorrow, and again on Thurs...and a little prep cooking on Thurs and again on Fri AM...
Asked Santa for tickets to the Rockettes Christmas Celebration in Boston for after Christmas...love to go into the city in the few days following Christmas. It's lovely. And the pace has settled back to normal...and the sights are just as beautiful as the days before.... even perhaps some ice skating at the Duck Pond in Boston Commons! Guess we'll have to see if he thinks I have been naughty or nice! (or both!!) (wink!wink!)
Hoping you are all making it thru these last few days without too much hassle or stress - enjoy the process of preparing for Christmas - it's so much more fun when done w/ love!

You are right, the week is speeding up, and I am such a procrastinator, good thing I work well under pressure..:) A million things left to do, including the grocery shopping trip, having everyone here on Saturday, although they start to arrive, late friday evening. You are right, the prep is that much more fun, when done with love....and I really do love all the bustle. Sounds like your Christmas prep is in full swing....enjoy your week, and your open house. I am still baking and candy making. Working on getting everything done so that we can make up the baskets.
