How many of us as we start to loose weight get asked "What's your secret?"
Well for me I guess the only secret is Discipline. You figure out what works for you and try to follow that plan. There are many things you can use to help you stick to your plan.
Get a partner...or partners to help you stay motivated. I know I am more apt to go on my daily walk if Hubby goes with me.
Stock your fridge & pantry with foods & drinks that fit into your WOE. That includes foods for snacks.
Don't buy foods that you know are triggers to overeat.
Don't let one day...or even several of eating over your RDI throw you into a tailspin.
Come up with a plan you can live with long term. That doesn't mean you can't try short term things to kick start your weight loss. I abstained from any alcohol for a month at the beginning. But, I enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail & knew long term I wouldn't stick with forgoing it.
Celebrate your progress along the way. You deserve it!
I recognize what works for me won't necessarily work for someone else. But, I believe there is a Plan for everyone....you just have to figure out what it is.
