I eat lower carb (under 100 gms/day), and increased my vegetables, and stay within my calorie limit. I found that weighing helped a lot because I was eating smaller portions of good fruits and vegetables and tracking higher calories. I now eat more and lose weight better. I have not implemented an exercise routine yet but am fairly active as my job is caregiving.
