I really don't understand. I was moving for 6 hours yesterday, like packing boxes and hauling them to a different location moving. I'm sore as hell, ate WAY fewer Cal than I took in and STILL gained a pound. I'm starting a new challenge today 5lbs a week for 8 weeks. I REALLY need this for my wedding. Losing 40 puts me at my max ideal wedding weight. Here's to losing hopefully 1lb for tomorrow! I've got one more obligation this morning, then I'm dragging DF to the gym with me to sign up for membership and get a workout in.

Water weight. If you hurt after all that boxes lifting, it is more likely you retained some water as your body is trying to repair itself. Will be gone in a day or two. You cannot gain a pound of fat in a day even if you tried. You will be a beatiful bride, don't stress out. Stress does not help with weight loss at all. Try meditation, or just find some time to relax. Get enough sleep. Good luck with the challenge.

Thanks :) I have anxiety so staying away from stress is difficult but I've been doing everything to keep it as low as possible. Also, turns out it was only 0.5lbs... I forgot to pee first :$ super embarrassing lol

Yes, sore muscles means your muscles are retaining water to help them heal, which can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss or smaller loss than usual. Just keep going and the scale will eventually even out. Cherries are said to really help with sore muscles.
