abbadabba's Journal, 04 March 2020

According to my recorded personal data, I burned an average of 1968 calories a day, and consumed an average of 1316 calories a day. Over 6 weeks, this theoretically is 7.8 pounds lost. Actual loss was 7.5 pounds. (Insert something about science here).

My plan is generally about the macros and no junk food, but I don't beat myself up if I cheat.

Change the mindset from “cheating” to just including a reasonable portion of some foods that you don’t enjoy on a daily basis into this days meal plan. It’s a whole different perspective. It’s not a license to go off the rail and devour massive quantities— it allows so to satisfy a certain craving without feeling guilty. Most people cannot live a deprivation lifestyle.
