Keep looking outside hoping to see the fox again. But on the other hand, don't really want my deck to become a habit for him since the dog has to go outside before it gets light. I went out at 5am with a flashlight to make sure it was okay for Bobby to go out.
Starting day 12 of the Daniel fast today, halfway through it. Have a couple of eating challenges ahead. Mah jong with the ladies at the club house. We usually eat lunch first. I will skip lunch but may buy an appetizer for the table. Don't like using the tables in the bar area for a couple hours without buying something. And a birthday party tomorrow. But I am feeling pretty strong.

How many days does the fast last? 30? What's the longest you have fasted? My longest fast is only 42 hours. I know a lot of people say they feel great during a fast but I just feel hungry and weak. I was told to use salt. Is that what you do? Do you drink coffee during your fast or only water? Have a great day!

Good luck with your fast.

Shelly - it's not a liquid fast. The longest liquid fast I've done is 72 hours. The Daniel fast is 21 days and it allows plants only - vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, whole grains. No processed foods and the only beverage allowed is water (although I could probably squeeze orange juice). No coffee, tea or liquor. No honey or any other sweeteners. I haven't been hungry at all doing this. Just a little bored the first day or two, but now I am roasting vegetables or stir frying them. Thanks Keyten and Kate!

I might have to try this one. check out palmini noodles. They are amazing!! Best noodle sub i have found. I really like them in stir fry. Any limits on seasonings/spices you can use?

Stefer - if you google the Daniel fast you can find lists of what's allowed. I've been using spices when I stir fry but I know there are some limitations. I'm not too worried about spices since I use a small amount. You can use olive oil for cooking. I'm not sure about the palmini noodles. I don't eat much pasta anyway.
