Progress for December= zero. No pounds lost, No inches lost. Ate an average of 2400 calories a day- which is maintenance, evidently. Per the calories burned there should be a loss of 3.2 pounds still- which means the calories for my exercise are probably overestimated even more than I thought. Went to the gym 28 times💪🏻🤸🏼‍♀️ this month with 7 whole days off... couple that with food everywhere and it shows what happens. So I maintained. I used to call 10/31 to 1/1 a free period and I would put on about 10-15 pounds so this is something. Weighing and tracking food for me was eye opening this season. Those little Lindt Lindor chocolate truffle balls I would eat until gone if given to me as a gift. I ate one and it was 73 calories... I would easily get 800 calories a day from those tiny, delicious treats because I didn't know how to stop nor did I care to try or care what the calorie count was. So- I'm not thrilled. Thought I'd done well enough to lose a few. But I'm definitely not disappointed with holding onto more than 65 inches lost. Goal for 2/1/20 is 179. Thankful God has given me another year! 😊

Lindt chocolates are my favorite as well!! Knowing how many calories helped keep me at 1-2 a day though lol.

DP I find learning and then adjusting calorie intake to be the best benefit of logging. It also helps me when making food choices. A couple of pieces of your favorite treat is not so bad and you know what is bad. I think you have had a great year and applied what you have learned. May this year be even better!!!

Happy New Year, Princess. I think not giving into candy binges and maintaining your weight thru the holidays is a win.

Actually yohoyo, 2400 calorie maintenance is low for 185 person who lifts. Mine is closer to 3500. https://tdeecalculator.net/

How do I post a picture of before and after? Can it be done with the app on my phone? I hate using the iPad. 🥴

I don't know about iPhones but in Android you have collage option in the photos app

I have to use my laptop for pics. I'm technologically impaired. Where it says drag photo...I do that and save them. do it again with the after and save. then post it I think. But with my phone there's no way from the app as far as I know but if anyone else knows - please respond.

Wifey - you can go to the website on your phone & it will allow you to post more than one photo into a single journal. OR you can use a photo editor on your phone and put the before & after into a collage / grid .. and you can post from your phone using the app.

Yes...I'm an ass. I use my phone all the time for pics. 😆 maybe if it's more than one pic you need the website. Do whatever Bella says. 👍🏼

How wonderful, Princess! Keeping steady in weight was a lot of work, and you did it! I know it will be easier for you to drop in the new year. Thank you for being such a great example. I love your spirit of humility and giving credit for your success to your Maker! You are the one doing the work for sure, but having the strength to carry on when it is really TOUGH. I Thank God He is here, and we aren't left alone in the struggle!
