well didn't manage to record a loss this week, so its all mind over matter from now on and going for a loss next week.

I think i'm going to have to start weighing and recording on a morning as it seems a more truer reading.

can you record a weigh in more than once a week on here?

i weighed myself on the bathroom scales this morning and from then until i got weighed at 7pm i managed to gain 4lbs!

so not happy as i thought i would be as i thought i was going to lose at least 1lb.

oh well, will have to see how this next week goes.
243.0 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 103.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Your weight fluctuates throughout the day & is usually higher at the end of the day due to food & liquid intake. So don't take the 4lbs as an actual gain. Some people have fluctuations of up to 10lbs in a day & the next morning it's back down. Mine usually fluctuates up to 5lbs. And yes you can record a weight on here everyday if you want to. You don't have to wait a week. If you choose a week, then it'll still prompt you on your weekly weigh-in but otherwise recording everyday won't make a difference. Good luck! You can make this week see a loss! = )

thank you that is so reassuring, i always thought that i was just eating heavy stuff on weighing day. :)

Nope! Lol. You can even check. Weight yourself first thing in the morning after you pee. Then drink a full glass of water & wait about 10 mins or so. Re-weigh yourself & you'll see the scale go up. I can drink my coffee & re-weigh myself & be up a 1-2lbs. Takes so very little. Glad the info was reassuring. Don't want you thinking you're doing something horribly wrong when it something none of us can control. = )

I'm guilty of weighing several times a day on most days, and I only record the first one as my actual weight since MOST of the time thats my lowest weight of the day. On some rare occasions I have had a visit to the restroom in the late morning and then it goes down a bit, but usually all the water and food that I've had still makes the scale stay up. If you want to see a definite loss, weigh yourself before bed, and then after you pee in the morning and it will go down. :) Oh, but make sure you don't wake up and eat or drink in the middle of the night or you'll ruin that little buzz kill. LOL!
