Back in 1998 I did a marathon. It as something that was amazing and hard work to get ready for. I was not a small person, about what I am right now actually; so the doubt of people thinking I could do it was questionable at times. One day I found this ad by Nike and fell in love with it. I put it on all my material and posted it at home and work to keep me going. I just found it again!!! So I wanted to share the words that kept me going. And yes I did the marathon, and yes I finished it in the alloted time....and yes I cried at the end. (and yes I will do another one too) Here it is: All your life you are told things you cannot do. All your life they will say you're not good enough or strong enough or talented enough. They will say you're the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. THEY WILL TELL YOU NO A thousand times no. Until all the no's become meaningless. All your life they will tell you no. Quite firmly and very quickly. AND YOU WILL TELL THEM YES.

Thanks RubieSue! I hope you don't mind, but I would like to use that as well! Nothing motivates me more than someone telling me I can't do something - I will look, and study, and then figure out a way to get it done!
