During an early Sunday dinner yesterday, it was a little unsettling that I only walked 10 miles on Sat and 13 miles Sunday morning when a marathon is 26.2 miles not 23.

"Hold my beer". I asked my wife and I got back out there to get the job done.

I am really sore but proud of my efforts.

Thanks marcothebrain, adefwebserver, jessabridge4444, Maine coon and znastar1. @raineybird, 50 min 21 seconds into the 13 mile walk yesterday morning, I had a 141 ft decent (top of the hill was 224 ft, the bottom was 83 ft.) For 6 min 12 seconds, I experienced agonizing pain in my knees ever single step. I almost called my wife to pick me up. I soldiered on. I stopped at least 2 times between miles 5 and 8 very briefly to stretch my hips. Pain is just weakness leaving my body. I will rest, recover and repeat a weekend marathon probably when I am 5 to 10 pounds lighter.

Mine ache too!!! but its actually from walking 4 miles today!!! I was obese and started walking at 210lbs but not this much!!! Are you drinking alot of fluids on these long enduring walks? I would be taking omega 3's if I walked that much. My dad wore his knees out doing that but we are all made a little different from one another. Please be careful to yourself. MSM condroitin or MSM glucosamine would help your joints and ligaments tremendously if walking like that is something you do alot. Im talking too much!! Take care!!#

Hey jamiejay, I walk 4-6 miles daily. Near the tail end of last week, Thursday 9.33 miles which included a 5k after dinner, my normal 5.8 on Friday, 14.18 miles on Sat, 21.76 on Sunday. Today, I stayed my butt indoors at the office and rested with only logging 3.67 miles. Tomorrow will be a low mileage day as my shins are killing me.

You’re also one of my people 😊👍. I found a way to have successfull results and my 🍺 . Cheers 🍻 to healthy, sustainable lifestyle and moving more freely as the pounds shed and still enjoying ourselves 🤗🤗❤️🙌. I’m so glad to have found this app and myself and what works with zero apologies for what I like in my RDI.
