I have got to work on my weight graph. Right now it looks like the end of a rollercoaster ride (OK a boring and short one) which would be nice if I was anywhere near the end of this ride. Sometimes it gets so depressing knowing that losing this amount of weight will take so long and I've barely begun. It's encouraging to see so many others reaching there goals.
I was called this morning by my oldest following her workout. She is using a trainer to help her get the last few pounds off and get everything toned and back in place. Both of my daughters are being very supportive as is everyone else I know. I live in a very small town and trust me when you change your eating habits at the local restaurants they notice. People have quit asking me if I want a ride when they see me walking which has been a relief.
I'm going to Nebraska on Saturday for a family reunion which had me worried but I called and got the menu and it will be fine. Hamburgers and hotdogs so I will make my low carb salads and life is easier. I'm riding with my kids and the grandbabies so their snacks might be an issue. I think I will provide them and then I won't have the temptation. Just have to decide what is the least messy option that works for a 1 year old.

You are doing great! Don't look at the end of the ride! Think of it as enjoying the ride you are on. Live your life, know that you will have ups and downs, and eventually you will get where you are going. Take it 5 pounds at a time. Reward yourself with nonfood items. Before you know it, you'll look back and won't believe how far you have come. Good luck!

This is one case where it's better to look BACK (at your graph) and appreciate how far you've come, rather than looking too far forward and getting discouraged. Yes, it will take time . . . but hey, the end IS ahead of you!!!

It is so hard when the weight comes off so slowly. I'm a slow loser too and it gets so frustrating but I figure it's either lose this weight slowly NO MATTER HOW LONG it takes or give up and then I'd probably gain it all back and more. I choose to keep trying no matter what....at least for now..lol. Hang in there with me and we'll do this!! Good planning for staying on track for your family reunion!

Don't beat yourself up! You're going a great job so far!! Pretty soon the weight will just fall off and you wont know what to do with yourself! It's great that you're sticking to things, don't give into temptation! Just think of how far you come, and reaching your goals. I know its hard, but you're getting there! I'm proud of you! Keep up the great work and never EVER quit!

Hang in there, you're doing great. I know when that goal seems so far away it's easy to get discouraged but you really CAN do this, take one day at a time and you will get there! Kudos for planning ahead for your family reunion, have fun! (O:
