Fasting today until 6PM (I love my Wed. Prime rib at local restaurant).
Its the second time I've done this in the last week, and the first time was an interesting experience.
It lasted 38 hours, and I found at ~20 hours that I got really hungry. After about an hour, that "hunger" went away, indicating to me that the hunger wasn't real, but it was my inner child crying out for a programmed meal.
By hour 38, I was actually doing great, wasn't hungry and could have kept going, however my schedule didn't allow for that.
I'm currently at hour 20 on this one, and I started feeling hungry @19, and its going away at this point.
Will fast for over 48 hours starting tomorrow (tonight), will see how it goes.
I got a blood keytone tester, and am testing twice per day for both blood keytones and breath keytones. (as well as blood-sugar).
Will keep the stats for my personal experiment.

Did an OK job with lasting until 6PM (dinner), but I think the countdown kind of sabotaged me. After eating last night, I'll try to not eat again until Saturday morning, and having the overnight hours be the home-stretch, I won't be eagerly anticipating food. It is absolutely amazing to me how much mentality goes into the concept of hunger.
