Interesting article. Anything that measures Insulin resistance cheaply will be a game-changer. Since my doctor was so focused on LDL, I asked her to test the particle-size. She didn't know what I was talking about. (I'm looking at changing doctors).

The month on antibiotics & cruise screwed up my blood-sugar and weight-loss, but the walking on & before the cruise made a difference on the thighs. (everything else was slight loss in the last 6 weeks, thighs were 2".

my stomach and thighs are slow to lose inches. I think that fat we store there as women are very stubborn. The body says that we should keep it just in case (even when we, as is the case with me, is too old for that "case")
