I’m at a loss. How can I lose 18.4# in that year (lost and gained some back) and lost 18.36# fat and gained 0.42# muscle? Even if you ignore the inaccuracy of the math, how does one workout off and on then hit the gym 3x a week plus increase daily activity for 10 weeks and still only manage to gain half a pound of muscle over a year including those 10 weeks... (50 1/2 weeks total). Now I know this scale isn’t accurate. Unless perhaps I lost a lot of muscle over 40 weeks and am one of those unicorns that can lose all fat and gain lots of muscle at the same time. It’s hard for me to think that I actually lost fat and gained muscle at the same rate... that in 10 weeks I could gain all the muscle I lost over 40 weeks. My mind is spinning circles and I’m not making sense to myself lol. Time to rest my weary brain after hours of research.

Sorry - don't know what I'm looking at or I'd try to help.

Weight, body fat %/#, skeletal muscle %/# and BMI change over 50.5 weeks. Basically a year. I don’t think I can be helped 😳.

The fact that you maintained and even gained a little muscle while "cutting" is a win!

Great! How tall are you?

On the internet or IRL?

LZenn- LOL- Same. How do you get these measurements? Just a scale and you program in your height? Are looking better in the mirror?

@draglist thanks! @velvetee thanks, I’m 5’3. Some drs say 5’ 2.5 and some up to 5’4 and at home I measure around 5’3 😉. @Chris thanks 😁. The mirror shows a change but not recently. The recent changes I can visual see are more fat in the midsection, a bit larger bicep and some more definition to the arms. That’s just the last two months. Bigger changes happened before that 😖.

@terra thanks, IRL or internet what? Thanks @D, I just don’t see the progress I expected. @princess, I bought hubby an Omron 514c body comp scale last year. We programmed in our age and height. Once we step on and grab the handles it weighs us, we raise our arms level and then it measures our BMI, body fat %, skeletal muscle %, ‘age’ and visceral fat. It seems I run about 33 years old and 4 on the VF which is great as I’m 38. The weight is off by half a pound compared to my normal scale. It’s the BF and SM that I think are way off. I highly doubt I was almost 40% bf at 140. 35% seems reasonable for back then (I had a few people guess based on their knowledge). The SM may be correct. After researching these scales I’ve found that they cane be off 4-16%. My trainer back at 136-140# said I was 26% BF and 19% at 125-130#. I don’t believe that last number either lol. She measured right under my bra for the waist measurement. My implants from my mastectomy are a 2#ish unknown. I’m hoping a scan will tell me what it reads as. The scan is supposed to be off no more than 3% and closer to 1-2% because it measures all body parts. Did that clear it up or make it more confusing? Lol.
