Happy Monday everyone - What a great day. There is a lot going on in my world so life is a little crazy - between work and family travel my wife and I have spent three day together in the last three weeks. My lesson learned for the week is the challenge of preparing meals for 1 person and cooking for me even though I don't really feel like it. I have to eat or suffer the consequences of a blood sugar crash (Thanks Pancreas - jerk) and all the fun that brings. The up side is I buy smaller amounts and more often so I guess it is very European - how continental. I just struggle with the motivation to cook for just me - I love to cook and I like to cook for my wife. Because food is just fuel to keep me going I don't quite have the same passion that I do for cooking for someone else, weird. I just look up recipes for one or make something I like and have it for a few nights. Just an amazing time we live in where all the resources are at our fingertips there on the interwebs. A true adventure. I hope you all have a great week and overcome your challenges on this journey.

Yeah, "Food is Love". So I can see why not having your wife there for the meal makes you kinda feel like "what the point..." That is why I eat on Friday evenings and the weekends. I don't NEED to eat (I could just have a shake), I do because these are the "meals with my wife".
