yesterday I had to go to the doctor to follow up on my healing for my vocal cord cyst. Good news is that it's 90% healed! So I wont need surgery for sure now and he's thinking another couple months and I'll be back to normal. I haven't been able to sing for over 6 months I think now so I'll be SO happy when I can again.
AND - while I was there I got weighed (which they didn't do last time because it's my vocal cords...not really necessary).
I was absolutely THRILLED to see 176 on the scale...that's fully clothed, big heavy shoes & full belly!!! 176!!!???

Hi Sharon! My friend here in India has a cyst on her vocal chord too, she has been given a strict diet. I was wondering if you have been told to avoid any foods too?
I want to also tell you I think you're amazing, the way you have lost weight!! You look great! Keep it up!!

Thanks Carol! They only told me no smoking and no alcohol preferably...and just to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated because moisture would give it protection and help it heal. They never gave me any other limitations on diet
