Happy Friday - what a great day. We still got a dusting of snow and our snow pack is awesome. Water for the season - I am grateful for that. this is the first full week back from vacation and things are pretty much on track. I am really happy that as long as I stay on course - things are consistent. Sure there are lots of ups and downs but that is what life is about right? I had an amazing vacation and updated my picture on here from the top of a Mayan pyramid - it was awesome. I was able to enjoy the cruise and sampled all the food that I wanted to and had it make sense; with out the need to be the "special food guy". The dining room staff were awesome and even got the hang of how I ordered and anticipated my sugar free requests. Life is really good. pre, during and post BGLs were completely normal...weight is stable and I feel great with two gym days in this week. My lessons for the week is that if I do what works I get the results I am after. I am so grateful that I have an opportunity to make a choice to enjoy this journey. I hope you all seize the opportunity to enjoy your adventure. Picture is from our formal night and 25th wedding anniversary.

oh and a follow up from a previous post that is not food related but just a blessing - my estranged son and I have chatted a few more times and might even be setting up an opportunity to meet in a few months...it has been a long time and is really a gift.

You two look wonderful. Happy anniversary. We went on our 1st ever cruise on our 25th anniversary in April 1988. We now have been married for 56 years and have gone on about 7 or 8 cruises. We did the Alaska cruise on our 50th. None of the other cruises were as memorable as our first.
