28g = 1 oz. so 50 is less than 2 oz per day. Help. What am I doing wrong my Keto blood reading was .4

I don't think you should consume 11 oz of protein per day. That would be crazy high and you have be a super body builder.

I looked at your food over the last few weeks. I was trying to figure out why you gained. I don't see any reason for the gain if you are logging everything. It looks like you are doing well. AND, every meat has different fat content. 11 oz of ground beef 35 % is about 57 g and 662 g. 11 oz of chicken breast has bout 63g and 302 calories. Salmon 11 oz of salmon has 60 g protein and 433 calories. You can figure out the protein in the cheeses you eat. You are in ketosis, even though it doesn't say a high number. The only suggestion I could make is maybe try eating more whole food/meats? Less empty foods like MCT oil and dairy? Does that make sense. I am sorry you are having a hard time. I can totally relate. You need to try different things. I decided to cut dairy as my latest experiment. (I am still eating butter). My protein is about 50-100. I cook up a bunch of meat and portion it out for the week. And yup, i have done carnivore and eaten 12 oz of meat. When I do eat meat, my portions are usually around 4-5 oz. Are you weighing your food? Oh and don't go by what fatsecret recommends. Your doing keto. Just stick to under 20 g carbs. You might want to up your protein. How are you feeling?

Yeah good point jenjabba. A difference between protein food and pure protein.

https://blog.virtahealth.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Protein-Intake-01.jpg I found the cart on FAQ on protein. It was on Virta a site suggested by Miraculam. I am feeling back to great again. You all seem to have the technicalities down but my mind is spinning As far as logging I don’t miss a thing I have a scale and measuring cups. I log the night before. Most of the time I don’t eat everything. Could it be as simple as not enough calories.

I found this on the site in the question and answer Each ounce (or 28.75 g) of protein-containing food contains about 7 grams of actual protein.
