Don't give up! I feel your pain. I've been stuck just a couple pounds above my goal, but nothing seems to get me there. So, I'm beginning to think that I may have to just accept the fact that this 52-year-old body has decided a higher goal is in order!

When you only have a small amount to lose, it can take longer and be more difficult to get off. Think about it, you don't have a lot of fat to get off your body, so it takes more work. You may need to be strict with your diet and exercise is your best friend. Are you tracking every bite, lick and taste (they all add up). Are you drinking water? (flushes out sodium). Are you being active? Exercise burns calories, helps keep your body healthy, helps you lose fat/inches so you even though the scale may not move a lot, you will go down in sizes. Are you getting enough lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Sometimes it's about "what" you are eating and not always "how much". Just some things to think about.

Yeah I agree - I do tend to think about my BLT's now Suzi - my cravings for eating tons of food, like I was when I was off the wagon, have kind of stopped, and I don't find myself snacking on bad things all that often... so I do try to think about any BLT's I have through the day. I need to get better about drinking water, I love water, but my dad is staying with me and drinks diet pop, so I drink it, it's a bad habit. Took 3 days off after finishing one running training thing, and now I am going to start a train to 5k but the workouts are intimidating me, and I'm scared I can't do them. I try to be active but honestly I haven't even been meeting my 10000 steps a day goal for 6 days... a couple days I still did my running workout, and another day I spent about 4 hours outside working in the yard, moving wood (we're building a barn so, it gets messy with scraps), etc... so I feel like I've been active, but I also think I'm kind of depressed about school/work and some things in my life and I'm kind of... sedentary when I'm not working out. Need to get my music back on in my ears, it makes me dance when I do household chores, always better to do two things at once!

Oh yeah and it's definitely about what I'm eating, I feel like I'm not getting enough fresh foods right now caues it's becoming winter and things are getting expensive, and my garden has given me the last of it's crops for this year... and things are hectic so we're not cooking as much, need to start doing all that again too.
