Nana Ellen's Journal, 27 February 2019

My employer in a effort for good health offered reduce rate for health insurance if you joined a program that monitored your health. Every year you would receive a report with your progress plus 2% reduction in amount due each week for health insurance. The amount due was 6% of pay. That made my payment 4%.

The written amounts are after my retirement and I was no longer In the program. I followed a low carb diet. As you can see my glucose was always a problem.

Hopefully when I go in May it wouldn’t be again. I have a meter and when I took it it was 78. The lowest it’s ever been is 108. Difference, in 2017 I started High fat low carb. I am eating more fat and my triglycerides went from 150 to 118.

My doctor told me I was in better shape than I was 10 years ago. She doesn’t know I doing high fat low carb. If indeed my glucose is in the normal range I will tell her.

I don’t know why on the report it said non-fasting because I was fasting.

Your thoughts?
