Lotus's Journal, 18 April 2008

Ok, no change, no surprise..it will take a few days probably to get it going down again. I did much better on calories yesterday, and I am freshly motivated to getback to where I was.
Zigzagging works, but I wasn't exactly ziggzagging the last four or five days, more like eating at maintanance, and if you do not ease into it it is easy to gain, if you are not super active. With all the rain I haven't been walking near as much.
I know I am kind of fickle and keep going back and forth about how I feel about my weight, but ultimately, I know I have more to lose and I will get there. It's sometimes hard to keep up the momentum after being at it so long. I need to amp up my workouts and eat more healthy food, and it will happen.
I don't want to eat super low calorie every day, I think one or two low calorie days should be enough per week.
No more than one high calorie day a week, and no higher than 1700 calories on those days. I also need to be more active on the high calorie days, so it might be better to have it during the week rather than on the weekend, mostly anyways.
I have been doing weight training, and I like it a lot. That is something I haven't been doing enough of.
It is supposed to be 70 degress today, so I definitlely will go walking today! It's still a bit chilly at the moment though.
I sure hate to see my pretty chart all messed up. :(
I guess I am just going to have get my booty in gear!
Somebody kick me in the butt and tell me to quit messing around! This is no time to get complacent! I gotta get bikini ready!
I can't just look "ok" to be beach ready! :) gotta be SMOKIN'!

I totally agree with you on keeping up the momentum on a long and laborious battle with the diet! It does get old occassionally. A cheat day (I know you know this already) really is therapeudically necessary! Oh and hey! stop goofing off and get serious! no more messing around on this diet! get yourself together and focus!! Lazy days are OVER! swimsuit is up around the bend and you don't want to be all self-conscious, do you!? (just following orders to help kick your butt into gear!)
