Good morning, fs, happy Sunday!

Well, i had a loss this morning, which i am pretty happy about. I am still eating way more than i should be. But i guess the "long term commitment" of this venture is finally starting to sink in. it's a long game! Rope-a-dope! Ty for everyone's encouragement, it keeps me going!

Super proud to report i *only drank soda water* at scrabble night last night. (I won again! And i am the least competitive of the four of us, lol.) I usually way overdrink with those two. They really like to party. Luckily they are two houses away and rm doesn't drink, but it wrecks me for the next day. I told myself it would be ok bc today is rest day from exercise, but then i decided it still wasn't worth it! 😅😇👍 OTOH, i still ate too much pizza. But we were in bed by 10, lol.

On a related administrative note, i am doing the no booze and lose challenge, but i don't really get the leaderboard thing. If someone could explain here or dm me, i would be appreciative! I tried looking at adef's pushup challenge leaderboard, but i couldn't figure out how to read it/what it meant. I may not be the sharpest crayon about these things...

Also i have a question to put out to y'all. Anyone do salutation to the sun? I remember being forced to do it at summer camp as a kid and i looooooathed it. Well, as it happens i am working on meditating more, and the window that helga looks out of faces due east. So i thought, hmmmm, what if i started doing salutation to the sun a time or two? (I know, who am i becoming, right??) Do any of you do it? How long does it take? Any tips, tricks or observations? Ty in advance...

We spent all day yesterday going back and forth to menards, and, long story short, the shelves are all cut down now. we still have to find the studs and hang the brackets, which may be a real PITA, but just holding them up... so exciting! I know i probably seem so shallow, but to have it be turning out just how i have always dreamed is so great. We have been doing piece by piece for nearly 3 years. I will definitely post pics when the shelves go up.

I saw that you were doing the no alcohol challenge, but I know nothing about them or how that whole leader stuff works. Sorry.😞 You are looking great BTW! So great about the loss. Wonderful when the scale cooperate. Yeah the challenges are very confusing. I have done some. The problem is that they all measure weight when sometimes the challenges are more about habits or reps. Wish that could be changed. I did a challenge with Lulu who is doing the booze challenge and she was good. I like sun salutations yoga style. Tadasana etc (somewhat modified as I am still building arm strength)

Ty, gals! @liv, ty, that makes sense about the challenges. I mean, the point is to not drink, but the "grade" doesn't reflect that. (I am a little "Tracy Flick," i know...) @becca, ty, i look forward to your posts too! You are like fs's own pioneer woman, lol. i am honestly excited to show you guys the pix. re: typos, a) i know what you are typing, b) i assume your fingers are cold or you are typing in gloves while you are outside on the bike, and c) this is the internet, so... You know... No need to apologize!
