Well found out my weight on February 18, 2010 on the doctors scale was 272. :( My alc was 8.6 and don't remember what my cholesterol was but she was fixing to up my meds if i didn't do something. Started really watching what i ate on March 19,2010. In February she prescribed me another diabetes med to go with the pill i was taking already. :( I figured i had to do something before i have to get on the shots like my mom and my grandmother did. Went for blood work and Tuesday (May 25,2010) i got the results. my alc was 5.8 and my cholesterol was down to 138. She was actually kinda shocked never realizing that i lost weight. But from that day i had lost a total of 34 lb. :))So as of today i have lost a total of 38.4 lb (from doctors scale... woohooo) Still have alot to go till goal but i am so happy that my numbers improved so much! That is really my main goal in watching what i eat.
