I let 4 packs of bones go to waste cause I kept putting off making it. Was going to try Instapot to speed it up but never got there

I take veggies and bones and pop them into freezer until I have enough to make a batch of stock. Saves me from throwing out ingredients when I don't feel like making right then.

Yeah, I dethawed them myself 😭. What bones do you use and other ingredients besides veggies? Thyme? How long do you cook?

@Cb1006 - All I'm sayin' is once you had homemade you can never go back :)

a chicken carcass works great very rich broth too. you can throw it in the slow cooker for a day or so with an onion, you can also add celery if you want and some garlic. if you want to make soup out of it just add any other veggies late in the process.
