The app doesn't even want to save my new weight , is it normal to gain so much in such a short time . I feel miserable. The sad part is I might not have much control over the things that happen in my life but I do have control over what I put in my mouth and even though I always have good intentions I always make the wrong choices

So I read about intermittent fasting . Can some one please be my buddy on this. I last ate last nigh at say 8. when do i eat again .

Can I eat anything ? how much can I eat please give me guidelines. This is the only thing I have not tried. I want to give it ago for the next 2 weeks and see if I see any difference

Its okay to feel bad and miserable... but we move on new day, new goals. You can start with 16/8. Fast from 8pm to 12pm(16hrs) and eat between(12pm and 8pm) (8hrs)...during your fast drink lots of water(+2L) and if you want to drink tea or coffee don’t add any sugar(I’ve tried sweetners) or milk. For me in my eating window I reduce my Carbs because I found that if I eat more than 50g of carbs my body retains water, which shows as a gain on the scale. All the best🤗

Look I’m just speaking from experience, I have had it twice now where I’ve gotten on the scale and it’s said I’ve lost like 9,5kg in the span of a day and then I move the scale and then try again and then it says I’ve gained 3,5kgs then I move it back to the original spot and then it gives me a more realistic number. All I’m saying is you actually need to go with how your clothes feel, and how you feel if you feel like you have put on weight but not that much then your scale might be wrong, maybe try measuring yourself as well and that might show you more promising results.

Further to what @Sinoza has shared with you, my advice to you if you are seeking to lose weight, is to watch your caloric intake, AND what you are eating during the 8 hour feeding window. Remember, when eating, you want to FUEL your body with correct, wholesome nutrition, NOT JUNK. If you take @Sinoza and my advice, you should have a winning recipe for weight loss :)

don't be too hard on yourself. It takes time to get a winning recipe to loose. I found fasting works for me. Also stay within your calories. Try cutting your calorie intake by 300 (for instance if your calories intake is 1700 try only eat 1400, then next month deduct another 300, so you are reducing your calorie intake on a monthly basis). You get used to consuming less. Hang in there.....it takes time.

Hi.. Don't be so hard on yourself. Remember that good eating habits takes time. It took me a year to lose 5kg.

Measure yourself instead of weighing some times. You lose fat but it gets replaced by water for a while until fat cells shrinks that can also make you weigh the same.

You are not tracking your intake properly. There is no way you can't lose weight looking at your diet journal entries ranging from 500-900kcal a day. You have to track your calorie intake better and include liquids. Even if you double or tripple the journal entries you will still be under your maintenance level intake. So start there. Take proper measurements of your food. Get a kitchen scale and weight everything. I suspect you don't include and under estimate a lot of what you eat. This leaves you without any idea if you are on the right path or not.

It could also be a medical condition?!? I tried losing and gained every week until I had my thyroid tested! On the right medication and calculating everything thing I put in my mouth (every calorie)! I also try stick to half the calories it says I can have! I have now lost 8kgs in 9 weeks! Slow but it’s working! Don’t give up, you WILL find something that works for you!

Hey, when I go through hard times I just allow myself to eat bad. Please be gentle on yourself because a lot of mental things can influence your diet. You will be okay, and your eating will be fine. Do not get obsessed with loosing weight because it’s only a small fraction of what life is all about. To be honest, as long as you feel healthy and comfortable, who cares what your weight is! You are capable of weight lose if you want to, but you must love yourself. I can give you some tips on body positivity that helped me. Allow yourself to be you and you’ll be fine💕 I am strictly plant-based but when I was going through my mental problems I went vegetarian and I picked up 10kg in 4 weeks! I am trying to loose it now but weight is never just a straight line down. I hope I helped you and if you want those body positivity tips just leave a comment her as well
