Scale today reads 198, 42.4 %. Weight up, bfp down. I know it is not muscle because I have been exercising less, not more. (Unless muscles are spontaneously forming-- haha, that would be fun! :) So I appear to experiencing this phenomenom many of you have referred to-- bloating and weight gain during TOM. I have surely experienced it many times before-- many times in the past I've noticed that my rings are a lot more snug around TOM. I just haven't had scale verification because it was not until recently that I weighed myself daily for any significant period of time. Well, this thing will be over soon, and I can start to see my chart move again. In the experience of those reading, do you find that you lose weight during your TOM underneath the bloating, that shows itself when the TOM is over, or is a just a total stalling period where no progress is made?

it's hard to really say! I usually have a drop of at least a pound or two soon after my period is over, provided I did well on my diet, but whether that is due to the fact that i exercise more(and get the munchies less) when I am off my period, or water retention, I'm not sure. Don't sweat it too much, You are probably losing as long as you are sticking to your diet.

I can gain 5-7lbs during TOM, but I lose it after it is over. Not much i can do about it. Eat more protein, drink some water and just figure it's part of life. Each person is different! Remember, just because you have TOM and don't see progress on the scale, doesn't mean you aren't making progress.

I usually have about a 2 lb. water weigh gain - and it drops off a few days later. I will have to say that my experience with TOM has been much better since being on SB. It is just part of life, I just continue with my healthier eating and exercise and it all comes out in the end. You are going great and your chart looks fantastic!

Each time it is different. I find it a good month if I don't gain during TOM. LOL. But really I usually maintain. I can't say it is very consistent. I hope to have lost after this time around, though. Good luck.
