Perspective: Since Christmas 2017 I have lost about 8 pounds. Is this as much as I wanted to lose: no. Did I gain some back during this time: yes. I am pretty much doing a terrible job of losing on my own. But I am losing. So I am winning. These days I eat inconsistently but I am trying to set habits. I have made a schedule for dancing, I have been working on a schedule to get to the gym to lift weights: today I just offered my coworker a ride on Fridays to the train which is next to my gym and I know she will follow through asking me every week. So, I plan to lift on Fridays. I am also going to put all my clean gym shorts into my car so I always have them, cuz I can workout in my work shirt, but not my work pants. That leaves Tuesdays for the second weight-training day. I have been learning about me and then taking that info and tweaking it to fit what I want to be doing. Also I am not good at this, but little by little I am "getting over" on myself! Tricking myself into doing what I really want to do. At this point I can still get to 125 by Christmas 2018. I just have to do it starting now or it will get harder and harder. Hang in there, everybody - tomorrow is Friday!
