Doing some research and came across something that makes me stop and think: "...as long as you don’t screw up maintenance, if you hit enough low days, you will get there eventually." from http://www.leighpeele.com/a-lesson-in-the-art-of-maintenance.

It's funny, I focus on deficit days but really those are pretty easy for me - it's the non deficit days that trip me up. The days I'm trying to get enough calories to meet my goals and not go off my keto game. The days I'm trying not to screw up my maintenance.
