First let me say that I am nearly there!!!! Scale this morning was 200.0. To get over my plateau, I doubled my water intake, cut my protein intake, added more salt to my foods, and did a couple of days of IF. Boom. I was stuck between 202.2 and 201.6 for 13 days and I finally got below that. Next step: ONEDERLAND!!!

Last night we took the grands (all 4 of them) to a free Movies in the Park event-- they show older movies on a big screen in the park while everyone brings blankets and lawn chairs... big fun! They provide games for the kids until dark, then free pizza for everyone! Well, we had lots of fun and played hard with all the kiddos. When it came time to eat, the kids had their pizza, hubs gave in and ate a slice (he's supposed to be doing Keto with me), and I just ate the toppings off mine. I figure cheese, pepperoni, and a smidgen of sauce wouldn't be too bad.

The NSV in all this was my epiphany that I no longer cared to have the carbs. It never even occurred to me to eat the pizza crust, as though it wasn't even really food. When I realized that I had pulled the toppings off and ate them as though that was the normal way to eat pizza, I also realized that my carb cravings are BUSTED. I even tried to imagine myself consuming a donut (yes, there were those too...) and I felt almost repulsed! Later in the evening, the kids had some candy during the movie (sweet tarts). One of the grands handed me one and without thought, I popped it in my mouth. Just a tiny sweet tart...and I had to spit it out. It tasted obnoxious.
