Well this morning I finally hit my weight of 123, where I had been last week prior to my fun filled weekend that started on Thursday.

You see, my bf got us awesome seats for Elton John. As if that wasn't a gift in and of itself, he upgraded us to an all you can eat and drink buffet prior AND during the event. Needless to say, it was incredible but for the diet, it was bad, bad, bad.

We had a blast. One beer, two beers, three beers, four. You get the picture.

Then came the weekend and he checked us in to the Millenium Knickerbocker Hotel and we ate at the Cheesecake Factory at Water Tower. Yes, we took our bikes and got a bike ride in along the Lake (which was beautiful) and yes, we walked the Mag quite a bit but in the end, I did take more in than I burned off and the 1.5 lb gained from last Thursday to now is proof of that.
My God, it's easy to gain it but so hard to loose it.
Lesson learned. However, for Elton and the weekend I had, it was soooo worth it and I'd do it all over again.
