Good morning!!!

I'm pleased with the 'after vacation' decline on my chart. Not quite back in the 'blue' but I am close. Each time I do this it is an important reminder to me that I do not gain weight overnight. Being able to be 'away' and not worry about weight is good. Coming back and getting back into my newly learned healthier routines is important. I am NOT destined to be fat. I am healthy. I can indulge and cut back. Food does NOT control me. I decide what to put in my mouth. Fluctuations are normal and nothing to worry about. These are ongoing lessons for me ... with each opportunity to learn these things I find myself more grounded. I am pleased.

Yesterday hubby and I celebrated 20 years of wedded bliss!!! 20 years passed so quickly. I would like another 20 with him. I am so blessed to have him in my life. We truly are good partners together and have weathered many storms. It makes me think way back when to a time when I truly doubted that anyone could ever stand to be with me. I had a male friend many years ago who told me I was "too intense" that "no man" could ever tolerate a relationship with me. I am glad he was wrong. I guess I was 'too intense' for him.

We watched Blindside last night. Really enjoyed it.

I read two books while on vacation, 'The Forgotten Garden' and 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.' I enjoyed both. I am often too tired to read except on vacation but I really enjoy reading so it was a lovely treat to lay on the beach, under a palapa and read!!!

I continue to be grateful for many things in my life ...

1. the opportunity to vacation
2. the ability to enjoy my food without stressing about consequences while on vacation
3. my incredible mother
4. warm sunshine
5. the comfort of my own bed
6. the privilege of sharing my life with someone else
7. that my husband truly loves me even though he is fully aware of all my shortcomings
8. my buddies here ... who share little pieces of themselves and cheer me on!!!

Wow, just wow! Mexico did you good. I love this journal. I love hearing about you still learning and it being ongoing, and you seem ok with that. Remember to come back to this journal often! Happy anny to you and hub, 20 years. Very inspiring. I want to make it that far, and farther. I feel the same way about my hub, we go well together. He seems to feel my 'intensity' is truly worth it for him. LOL I love your decline too, you are getting back into it so well!

Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby! Glad you found him. Hoping I will be lucky enough in this life time to find someone wonderful too. As far as the comment goes...It's funny isn't it how we always remember the hurtful things instead of the good. You are a great person Moose and you deserve the best. Always remember that!!

Moose, what a wonderful journal you had today. Truly, truly inspiring! What an awesome list you made. Maybe you are intense, but it is, for sure, for the good! WOW, I am so moved! Thank you for your words of encouragement. That's what we are all here for and I really appreciate it. You are right, we do fluctuate, I know I can go up some then come back down. You have really dropped a lot! I need not to let it get to me if I go up a few ounces. I have gotten in some walking lately. I sure hope it helps. I do enjoy being outside. I try to go a bit at lunch and again after dinner with hubby. Speaking of hubby, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. 20 years! How wonderful. You are so lucky to have found each other. Not many find themselves compatible after 20 years. Have a great evening and a better Friday Moose. Thanks again for being a buddy!
