Big milestone today:
* Officially I'm not Obese Type 1 anymore, I'm now on the Overweight range with a 29.9 BMI
I have to say it is getting a tiny bit easier every day. However, I have temptation all the time. It is really hard to get below 800-900 calories a day. I'm doing a VLCD for 12 weeks only and then will switch to a low cal - high protein diet maybe 1200-1300 calories until I reach 25 BMI (still 13.5 Kg to go)
I have a massive challenge early next month. I have been invited to a 5 days holidays, for me and my brother Bday all inclusive going to very nice (Michelin type) restaurants, drinks included. I'm super excited but I fear the consequences. Also, TBH, I don't want to stress out with food there, my brother and I live in different countries and we haven't celebrated birthdays together since quite a few years ago.
I need to plan a strategy, without feeling deprived and I really want to enjoy those days. Any experience with this type of situations? recommendations?
